The Bread Shop @ Damansara Heights

I've always been a big fan of bread, be it Ciabatta, Focaccia, Brioche, Naan, Whitebread and Wholemeal. So today, my mother decided to take me to a new bakery that recently opened in Damansara Heights, The Bread Shop. When I stepped into the shop, I was greeted with the heavenly smell of freshly baked bread, and immediately fell in love with it's minimal interior design.

The price range is between MYR 15.00 - MYR 2.00, apart from the medley of baked indulgence, the Bread Shop also offers an all day dining.

a visit to Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm

Strawberry Temptation AUD $ 14.50

If you happen to be in Melbourne, why not take an hour’s drive to Mornington Peninsular, and pick your own fresh strawberries at the Sunny Ridge Strawberry farm. We lingered around the farm, scouting for perfection in the form of a strawberry. Stop for a glass of Strawberry temptation at their desserts cafe. This dimmed lighted storefront has busy bee workers filling glasses with their award winning ice cream and luscious strawberries clad with whipping cream and strawberry sauce. We absolutely love the al-fresco dining concept sans the summer flies that came along with the place due to Summer approaching.

There is an entrance fee (obviously), AUD $ 8 (MYR 28), this will entitle you with 500 grams worth of strawberries. Be sure to pick plump, bright red and fully ripe strawberries (they do not ripen after picking).

Sweet infatuations visits Just Heavenly Pleasures @ Damansara Heights

The results of living in a country that gloats tropical weather practically all year around, gives you an excuse to pay a visit to the nearest cake shop to indulge on a lazy Saturday afternoon like today. Today we decided to head to Just Heavenly Pleasures located at Damansara Heights. They are famously known for their Chocolate Durian Cake.Since we were not too keen on the idea of a chocolate cake filled to its brim with durian flesh, we decided to give its other indulgences a go:

Butterscotch Cream Cupcake

What intrigued us to order this cupcake was the rich butterscotch cream clad on top of it. We were told by the baker, Babes (her nick name) to preheat it in the microwave for a good ten seconds for its best experience! This is so that the cream can melt and that butterscotch cream goodness can linger on your tastebuds. This definitely moved the earth!

Death By Chocolate

If you fancy chocolate, The Death by Chocolate would definitely rock your boat. Tender Chocolate sponge clad with chocolate coffee mousse enveloped with lustrous chocolate ganache, garnished with chocolate curls. This was definitely a rich and sinfully indulgent. Making us coveting for it more.

Some of it's cakes may contain Alcohol, so do not hesitate to ask which cake is Halal.
